Recap: I had the chance to visit two local churches in the Temecula-Murrieta Valley this weekend. The Lamb’s Fellowship and Rancho Community Church are two ministries that are growing and reaching families and individuals at an increasing rate. Having met some of the leaders over the years, it was truly a blessing to see the unique contributions expressed in a worship setting.
At The Lamb’s Fellowship’s Saturday evening service, Pastor John Hansen gave a message about Jesus being our true hero in a series “Unlikely Heroes”. I enjoyed hearing his passion in his preaching and my wife and I thought this is truly a man with a huge shepherd’s heart. The worship was free and engaging.
We went t0 the 10:45 AM service on Sunday at Rancho Community Church where Scott Treadway continued a sermon series in the book of Revelations. He presented the “a millennial” view, which was a brave thing to do! I was impressed with his candor and study on it. The worship was vibrant and I especially enjoyed the sharing the lead female worship leader delivered about experiencing God’s joy “for no reason” at all.
It is so good to see worship people do their thing! Being ministered to by these two churches reminds me of how important worship leaders are to their respective churches. My soul was brought to a place of meeting God because these servants prepared an experience for me and gave me the opportunity to offer worship. Thanks!
