I am once again getting back into journaling my health and fitness efforts after moving a few weeks ago. The extra pounds gained from the adjustment from the move to SoCal was expected but not nine pounds. (Dang!) - Average daily calories: 2070 (~2500 to maintain weight)
- Weight: 204.9/goal maintain below 199 (change from a week ago -4.7)
- Exercise: walking the dog, 5 miles this week.
Drinking water, and getting exercise are two simple but crucial things I need to improve this week. I walked our just a few times this past week, but need to do a bit more. Perhaps I will get that bicycle out of the garage?
The holidays are coming, so I need to plan to journal my food intake and watch how much sleep and activity I am doing. When tired, it is easy to snack and with the holiday spread being so readily available, the choice needs to be made now how I can plan to both be reasonable and have fun!
Part of the importance of this journey is health, but not just my physical health. Self-control is a spiritual trait. We all have areas where self-control is a weakness. One of mine happens to be food of any kind. How are you doing with your journey.
