Happy Thanksgiving! From our home to yours…

Thanksgivingmeal07_4

Today we had my mother-in-law and Papa Mark come from San Jose to share a wonderful meal with us, accompanied by Terry, Tammy’s niece.  The turkey was juicy and trimmings amazing.  My only contribution besides getting to carve the turkey, was making the pan gravy which I have to say was quite good.  I only lost my temper once today, unfortunately at the prayer time!  But, oh well, there ya go…

This year has been full of amazing changes for our family as we spend our first official holiday in our new home in southern California.  I am grateful to God that there has never been a season in the 18 years of my families existence that God has not provided abundance of food and comfortable shelter.  Our health has been excellent, even with a couple scares.

Beyond that, so many wonderful people have entered and passed through our lives, making us better people.  Ministry has been tough, but rewarding.  I am excited about our new point in the journey of life while being grateful for what has gotten us this far.  What a ride!

  1. What a great looking family! Glad you had a such a great day with them. Ours was the best one in many years, for a lot of reasons.

  5. It looks like your son is almost missing from the picture. You have to look to notice that he’s (sort of) there.
