Church bulletin bloopers…

Here are my top four bloopers chosen from a hilarious list compiled by fellow blogger Scott (whole post here). I have been in charge of communications and the bulletin at Neighborhood Church of Redding, so this post is dedicated to my dear Communications Coordinator and friend Kathy Brown who never had these particular typos make it past her desk. I am going to miss you Kathy!

  • Weight Watchers will meet at 7 PM at St. Martin’s Church. Please use the large double doors at the side entrance.
  • A bean supper will be held on Tuesday evening in the church hall. Music will follow.
  • Barbara remains in the hospital and needs blood donors for more transfusions. She is also having trouble sleeping and requests tapes of Father Jack’s sermons.
  • Don’t let worry kill you off – let the Church help.

  1. So do you remember your post about gluttony and being Godly and your quest with all of that? Yeah well, it got me going and so now here we are…walking and eating all healthy (or trying to). So thank you.

  5. Hey Rich,
Thanks for stopping by. I’m really trying to get out of my blogging funk, and I think I’ve already made real progress this week.

I’ve been loving hearing about both you and Los making moves. What an exciting time for you guys.

As for Humberto, no we got absolutely nothing out of it. The coast got hammered pretty much, but the one band of it that came this way completely fell apart about 30 miles the other side of Dallas.

  9. Hi Kristi!
OK…I confess…I had pizza, and taco bell the past couple of days, but we are packing and can’t use our kitchen…but NO excuses! I am still struggling with this like so many.
