Worship Set List: July 21-22

Worshipbnnr

This weekend at the Celebration worship services we really rocked the house.  The idea this week centered around defining a bit of why and what we do in praise and worship.  Psalm 84’s "Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere" was translated to challenging our church to by faith believe God is present in our services here in Redding, CA.  It is not a place, but the fact of God’s people hearing His word, praying and crying out to Him that are important. It is not working up emotion, but simply expressing in a grand way what we actually believe! People in other nations worship with the risk of arrest or worse.  We have a thousand other options in our culture that compete for worship:  the beach, the lake, the mountains, TV…

The list:

Well, God was present in worship services all over the world so how was your weekend of worship?
