Pastoral Staff at the Redding Gun Club

Richkgun_1 This pic shows what I did today.  The Neighborhood Church of Redding pastors went on an outing today to the Redding Gun Club.  Shooting clay pigeons in a competition that lasted two hours in the dry heat of Redding brought out the best in this group of Leaders.  After all, when the Children’s Pastor turns nearly all of his clay pigeons into dust you learn to have a higher level of respect.  So much fun.  Leaders should have fun, by the way. We need to learn to take ourselves less serious as we take more seriously the most important mission on earth–the mission of the Church.

  1. Ah. Nothing like a picture of pastors with pistols!I think it’s great! You need to try a little paintball. Now you can learn some real respect there.
