My Church Now Has an OFFICIAL Blog

Picture_1_2

My church, Neighborhood Church of Redding, CA has a blog!  As well as being the worship pastor, I am also the communications guy.  This is one of a couple blogs that will link to our site and be official interactive ways for our people who are a part of the community, whether missionaries, members or family.

  1. my church does not have an official blog . . . yet.
the college ministry does and the youth ministry did (although they sacrificed a blog for a myspace which is more effective with teenagers. – Teenagers don’t read anything longer than 2 lines at a time.)

  5. Very cool Rich. We just started one at our church for our upcoming 40 Days of Community campaign coming up. I’m hoping to get people going to it for info then carry on past the campaign. We’ll see how it goes…it’s hard to get people to go to a “blog”. I’ve found if I use the term “website” people understand it better. Have you found that with folks?
