I know that my mom has worn holes next to her bed where she has fervently prayed for each of her five sons–including me during this wait and see period about my health. My mother-in-law, Eileen, certainly fits in this category, too. To know that I have such a spiritual heritage and force supporting me is an amazing blessing. To have friends all over the nation commit to pray for me during this time is humbling. I just don’t deserve this. This is evidence to me personally of God’s Grace.
What is even more cool is to have Mrs. Karen Asaada Abu, the mother of my fellow blogging worship Leader Ben Abu Saada, take time to pray for me from Gaza. In Gaza she and her husband are working and reaching people there in an exciting ministry you can read about here on BabuLife. Again, I do not deserve this. But, again, God is a God of grace.
Ben of BabuLife and Pete of TransitionPete have both linked prayer request posts to their blogs. Thanks to my fellow bloggers Anne and Carlos who have already been praying for me before I posted anything. You HAVE to read the comment on Uncertainty PART 3 from Dan with the story of his wife’s sickness, lost wedding ring and the miracle. This touched me and my wife last night. (Thanks to email and IM!…click here to IM me!) On top of this, of course, my worship team and staff back home in Redding have been such a support.
To GOD be the glory!
