Singing is Spiritual Warfare: How we fight when we worship!

Resurgence

RESURGENCE blog is a good one!  I really am enjoying the sermon from 1985 by John Piper that they recently posted both in HTML and PDF.  I remember reading this years ago.  Check it out on the RESURGENCE blog: Ambushing Satan with Song.  Read it and comment back.  When we sing in worship, do you agree with Piper that it is spiritual warfare?

  1. Hi Kristi,
I VERY MUCH agree with Piper on this. I have personally seen spiritual warfare and the results of it from leading worship both in a small group as well as in front of the big church. Also, I see other places in scripture beyond this passage, too.
