Well, I can say that my kids did a great job pampering Mom on Mother’s Day. My 12-year-old, Emilie, made an artistic yummy chocolate layer cake covered in purple frosting. Purple is my wife’s color, by the way. Emilie set the table with candles and fancy stuff. She also made her 7-year-old brother, Ethan, take her picture and allow his picture to be taken so the frame she purchased would have special pics in it. Ethan, for his part, presented mom with a beaded bracelet he made for her. And, of course, I had to get into the act. I cooked dinner! We had roasted Tri-tip marinaded in Chardonnay and garlic, my own made from scratch basalmic pasta sald and sauted zuchinni. Of course, we did not get to eat until 8:45 pm due to the roast taking a bit longer than dad thought it would.
Anyway, my mom is my hero. But, so is my wonderful wife, Tammy! In just over a month we will celebrate 17 years together. I love you my sweet!!
