A car bomb has exploded in Baghdad between the Alliance church and the pastor’s home. Many people have been wounded from the explosion. All of the windows of the church were blown out. The pastor, who is in the U.S. at this time, reports that his family is safe. The full extent of the damage is not known, nor is it known whether the bomb was intended to destory the church.

This attack was one of four that took place in Baghdad today. The other three explosions killed 33 people, including 13 police officers. A car bomb exploded at a funeral procession, another was denoated at a security checkpoint, and the third exploded at the Iraqi major crimes unit.
