iTune Songs: 1 Billion and Counting!

In case you were thinking that digitally delivered music was a fad or that its impact is slight, Apple has just announced that there songs downloaded on iTunes have topped one billion on Wednesday!  Here is an article on CNET NEWS.COM today:  Apple’s music store: Over 1 billion served And the news on Apple’s site with the winner of the 10 iPods is here:  1 Billion If you don’t have an iPod or none of your friends have iPods you are now way old school.  With podcasts, TV content and music singles the mode of entertainment has indeed changed and our thirst for custom-fit content that is on-demand is here to stay for a while.

What this means to us in the biz of reaching people with the ancient truths of Jesus is that we have to be aware that our culture and the arts are dramatically shifting.  If we are unaware of this shift, we risk missing out on the very people we are called to reach.
