Worship Recap & Set List: October 31, 2010 #sundaysetlists

Recap: I was privileged to be invited again to be a keyboardist for the Rancho Community Church worship team. Some weeks things just seem to click, and this was one of those weeks. Chad, the band leader and worship leader, has a gift in casting people and keeping things consistently excellent. In doing so, you can bet that some weeks will just be a bit above the rest.

Sabo Cortez preached about biblical community and I appreciated his scriptural insight as well as his honest and authentic story about how community has shaped him personally. It is always a great thing to hear the church “sing” and the moments of this were a treat. Julianna, one of the morning’s worship leader, led people to this even though she missed Saturday due to being pretty ill. No one on Sunday would have been the wiser.

Set List: This week there were some songs that were brand new to me and the church. I loved the “We The Redeemed” and it was indeed the song the congregation sang out loudly on.

  • Sing To The King – (Foote, Billy & Horne, Charles Silvester)
  • Live For You – (original)
  • Stronger – (Fielding, Ben & Morgan, Reuben)
  • We The Redeemed – (McCloghry, Jill)

How was your worship weekend where you worshiped?
