Worship Video, Recap & Set List: February 21, 2010

Recap: This was an especially powerful Sunday for worship at Sunridge with an inspiring message by Josh Clark about the wonders of God. One of the best part of my weekends surely hearing the voices of Sunridge sing. Each week, I have the best seat in the room.

I did have some ADD moments. Such as starting “Great Things” vocally in the wrong key and skipping a couple things–listen carefully and hear creative piano playing ;). I am so glad that did not stop the big mo of this past weekend.

Our singers did great in helping not only vocally lead, but watching the video reminded me of how their faces really communicated our heart to worship.

Set List: Our songs this week were about the “greatness of God” which worked well with the sermon–even though that was not “planned” to be connected. Even though we are so small, you choose to be with us in our worship.

  • Living Rain – Parachute Band
  • Great Things – Matt Maher
  • Glory To God Forever – Steve Fee/Vicky Beeching
  • A Thousand Hallelujahs – Mark Roach
  • How Great Is Our God – Chris Tomlin

  1. Rich,
Glad you had an inspired Sunday morning. I think ADD moments are great in the day and age of “perfectly scripted worship” For us we had one of those Sundays where the band just clicked and the music just flowed. I had one of our guys lead communion time and two songs and he did awesome. Next week he is leading the whole service.

    Our set was:

    Sing to the King
    Glorious one – Fee
    Cannons – Phil Wickam
What a friend Ive found – Delirious
As it is in Heaven – Matt Maher

  5. Great set Rich. You covered really well – but then you told everybody! Ha!
Hey, your team really is engaged with you, and it’s to tell you guys are really leading as a group. What awesome power is released in the unity of worship! Have a great week.

  9. Love the music this week, well actually every week. We should do amazing grace with the banjo again. I tried finding anyone who performed it on itunes or amazon music, so I could buy it. But nothing sounded like that one we did a while back.
    Anyways good job as usual.
